I love meeting our amazing patients and getting to know them. During visits, while cleaning a patient’s teeth, taking X-rays, and offering preventive care, we spend a lot of time talking. The more I know about a person’s life and activities, the better I can find the right home dental hygiene processes and products that work with their needs. I’ve been in the dental field since 2011 and found my professional home here in 2013. I love building friendships while encouraging people to take control of their smile’s health!
Outside the office, I enjoy time with my wonderful husband and our dog child, Chloe. Chloe is a pit bull/bulldog mix, and she’s a tripod as she had a leg amputated. She doesn’t let that slow her down! I like watching movies and love anything active, especially hiking.
I like getting to know my patients while working one-to-one with them. It’s amazing to watch a person take control of their oral health and develop a passion for caring for their smile! I started working as an assistant while in high school, in 1970. In 2013 I joined Dr. Critchfield’s team and couldn’t be happier. Everyone takes great care and each is gentle with patients. I offer routine and periodontal cleanings, take X-rays, and spend a lot of time teaching each patient how to take care of their smile!
I’m happily married and have two adult children who are starting families of their own. I feel blessed. My favorite times are spent at the ocean and I love fishing.
I enjoy getting to know my patients and seeing their families grow over the years. I’ve been here since 1980 and am honored to be caring for the smiles of the children and grandchildren of some of my first patients! I see new patients and re-care patients for routine checkups and periodontal maintenance and care. A lot of my time is spent teaching each person how to care for their oral health. When I see a clean, happy smile at the next visit, I’m thrilled!
When not working, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and family and church activities. My husband and I have been married for almost 40 years. We have a son and a daughter who, with their spouses, have given us five wonderful grandchildren. My husband and I also have two dogs who work hard to fill our empty nest.
I like helping people during visits, talking with them and making sure they feel safe and welcome. Some people feel stressed and worried when visiting the dentist: I promise Dr. Critchfield is truly gentle, as is everyone in our practice! I offer chairside assistance, helping the doctor while supporting our patient. I’ve been part of Critchfield Dental since 2004, after starting working in the field in 1983. I’m glad to be part of helping people develop healthy smiles!
When not working, I love to bake and decorate cupcakes and I enjoy photography, too. I have three grown boys and share my life with my pet bunny, Taffy.
I really like getting to know our patients. It’s rewarding to help people I care about feel better about their smile and show them that visiting the dentist can be enjoyed. After starting in the dental field in 2012, I found my home with the Critchfield Dental team in 2014 and can’t imagine a happier office. I make sure patients are comfortable during visits, assist Dr. Critchfield with procedures, and take X-rays. I want people to feel safe and relaxed while here and look forward to their visits.
During my time off, I enjoy hiking, yoga, working out, and being outdoors. I’m an animal lover and love my chocolate lab, Rocko.
I love helping people achieve their best smile, keeping them comfortable, and watching them gain confidence. Having a healthy smile really does make people happier! I’m somewhat new to our team, having joined in 2016, and can’t imagine being anywhere else. We’re a large family, always helping each other to make sure our patients have great visits! Dr. C. is fun and easy going, keeping the team and our patients laughing! I assist the doctor and support patient during treatments, take X-rays, and make sure patients feel relaxed and safe during visits.
I was born and raised in Utah and moved to Arizona a few years ago for my husband’s schooling. We love it here! When we have time, we love camping and fishing. I enjoy learning and trying new things. Right now I’m learning how to sew and teaching myself photography.
I’m glad we see our patients every six months, as that gives us time to get to know them and keep up with their lives. I joined the practice in 1997 and have worked in all positions in the front office, as well as an assistant. My goal is to ensure all our patients’ needs are met and their expectations exceeded, so they are happy with their visits. Dr. Critchfield and our team work hard to create a friendly, relaxed, caring environment where patient comfort is a top priority. I oversee our practice and handle payroll, patient billing, and follow up on insurance claims, too.
My incredible husband and I have been married for 45 years. We have three children, 11 adorable grandchildren, a spoiled Goldendoodle named Levi, and three huge African Sulcata tortoises who live in our backyard! In my spare time I love reading, Cardinals football, and being with family.
Front Office and Hygiene Coordinator
I enjoy talking with and learning about our patients’ lives. We serve incredible people, each with their own experiences, and it’s fun to learn who they are. I’ve been part of Critchfield Dental since 2014 and enjoy every day at the front desk, where I answer phones, manage our social media, and schedule visits. I also verify patients’ dental insurance, accept payments, and manage our hygiene schedule. I’m busy, but never too busy to make sure our patients are smiling!
My husband Brad and I have a young son, Jayden, and a yellow lab, Tide. We enjoy watching sports, especially the University of Alabama’s football team: ROLL TIDE!!! My husband and I enjoy golfing and we both played at the collegiate level. Our family and friends are a big part of our lives.
Front Office Coordinator
I look forward to talking with, getting to know, and strengthening relationships with our patients. Each is a remarkable person and I am happy to learn about their experiences and interests. I joined Critchfield Dental in 2004 but started working in the field in 1989 and have 15 years of orthodontics experience. At our practice, I handle scheduling, post insurance payments, and general front office duties. I also review treatment plans with patients, explaining what the doctor recommends and why he feels it’s important.
My husband Rick and I were married in 1982. We have three children, three grandchildren, and a dog named Dory. Our family loves vacationing in Cancun! I love home improvement projects, gardening, and family get-togethers. I’m a big fan of the Arizona Cardinals and really enjoy attending their games. I also like cheering for the Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns.
Front Office and Insurance Coordinator
I am happy to help people, talking with them and making sure each feels comfortable and heard. At Critchfield Dental, everything we do is focused on our patients’ happiness and they soon learn this is a positive, supportive environment. I’ve been here since 2013, bringing with me 15 years of previous experience. I greet and check in patients and confirm their appointments. I also verify and update their insurance information.
I’m a mother to three wonderful young boys. Our weekends are spent camping and discovering Arizona. I love being outdoors with my husband and sons. Downtime for us involves movie nights and games at home. I enjoy baking and cooking, home projects with my husband, and visiting my family in California.
Bookkeeping and Back Office Assistant
I enjoy the relationships I’m able to develop with our patients. Since starting at Critchfield Dental, in 1984, I’ve met many remarkable people and been part of helping them develop healthy and happy smiles! I wear two hats in the office: I pay our monthly expenses and, when needed, I assist Dr. Critchfield with patient treatment.
I have an awesome husband who I work with every day: I’m married to Dr. Critchfield! We have seven children and eight of the cutest grandchildren ever! We are dog parents of two fun-loving K-9s, Brody and Gunnar. My soft spot is for animals of all kinds and I try to rescue them whenever I see one in need.
